At the time of The Gallows
Nature had followed mankind in aid of war
Many beasts had spawned during the war
Caused by universal magic left by the immortals
Dragons were mythical creatures to man
To Drago, the symbol of nature and power
He was the dragon king, gifted with all elements
Other than controlling nature at his will
His strongest gift was his dragon heart
and his dragon plated skin
He resembled a human form
But could emerge a dragon at will
his heart gave him the ability to have a second life
and at the same time, regenerate quickly in battle
his skin could absorb all elements
Dragon wings matched his persona
Power equivalent to a Celestial Guard
Cid granted him the Keeper of Nature
Cid's reasoning was valid for many reasons
Other than sheer power and ability
Drago had potential for being the strongest Lesser
Next to Earth's Jericho, who learned from Aries
Drago had no reason to hide from the tide of battle
His ego matched the intensity of his strength
For after being placed on the Council
He invited the other members to fight him at will
For as long as a dragon's heart beats
He refused to back down from a fight
His army included no Celestial Guards
(Yet he had sealed those who had capability
For he knew those who are given wings
Could match the power he could unleash
Instead kept them as reserve
when his second heart stopped beating)
Instead he chose bodyguards
Those of other mythical beasts
Whose power matched the dragon king
These warriors could hold off against the Guards
Immortals also feared of these Earthly creatures
For they are unaware of their origins and source
Of the beastly power they obtained
They are as follows:
Chimera- Beastly lord of Fire
Griffin- Beastly lord of Wind
Leviathan-Beastly lord of Water
Behemoth- Beastly lord of Earth
Two others stood at the side of Drago before the second war
Basilisk- Beastly lord of Poison
Gecko- Beastly lord of Shadows
After the war, these two joined other Council members
For their own reasons
Drago did not stop them
For he knew his power overwhelmed all the lords
He kept them for security and nothing else
This tale of dragons and beasts goes on
In other stories to come
These beasts owe no favors to mankind
Pleasing themselves with the chaos of battle
All they desire is a worthy challenge
Until next time we wait for the second war
More tales to come, we await the era
Of battles and gore
The mythical beasts show no mercy
Drago awaits his next challenger
