Here- let me answer the age old question
That is always on the minds of the unemployed
I need a job, so I can get money and be happy.
So when I ask for a job- they ask for an education
So when I ask for an education- they need money
So when I ask for money- they give me a debt to pay
So when I ask for a job to pay the debt- they need experience
But wait...
I can't get experience if I don't have a job
So now I need a job, so I can get experience
So when I ask for a job- they need experience
So when I ask for experience- they reject me because I don't have a job
Well...when I don't have a job- I can't get experience
Because I don't have experience- I can't get a job
Because I can't get a job- I can't get money
Because I can't get money- I can't pay my debt
Because I can't pay my debt- my education means nothing
Because my education means nothing- I can't get a job
Because I can't get a job- I can't get money
Because I can't get money- I can't be happy
My happiness was a waste of time
Why?
Because I need a job to get a job?
All I asked for was a chance to pay off my debt
The hard work I put in
All the money that was lost for my education
It means nothing now
All because a job needs a job
All I asked for in the long run-
Was a chance to succeed
Now I know what it takes to fail
To set yourself up for failure
Now I am broke
Now I am empty
No happiness, no money, no experience, no job
And all that is left
Is the knowledge that I can not pay for-
Teaching me how to write this poem.
