PostSubject: Under the Mistletoe    Fri Dec 07, 2012 8:23 pm

December again, you can tell by the snow
With Winter's cupid- charm of the mistletoe
Here she is- in red, it matches her lips
Taunts me with her hat- her dress with her hips

Oh funny how fate has brought it so!
To give me, angel of grace- I know
This Winter's tale has gone amiss
To give her hopes- my warmth, my kiss

She, the present of my true desire
For when covered in frost, keeps soul, a fire
Santa could not have brought a better joy
Our passion of youth, like child to toy

Haunts with eyes- hand so familiar and soft
Then me- held by nerves, with my friend aloft
When she approaches my side, feelings will grow
How dare you watch me, Cupid- my Mistletoe

Here she is- smiles at the green, and me
Like dream worth watching, next to the tree
Had our first kiss, pushed away all the fear
She was my Christmas, onto the new year

The leaf kept its luster, proudly hanging above
To take its next victim, to the voyage of love
I await the day to come back- keep winter slow
When I find her again, under the Mistletoe
