Sing a sweet song to the angel, for the time is near
Hold her head on your chest and say you are alright
Let her divine wings wither in peace and scorch a tear
To burn bridges into hell in this daring fight
Of life and death, it has begun…

Clashing swords and trumpets high!
Let blood colour the ground below
Come one, come all, the end is nigh!
Let the demons and angels know (Repeats in chant)

Preaching with scars and flow of compassion, was that not your goal
Take note human- watch the gore and agony arise from the heavens above
We thought we could manage your rapture, but it is out of our control
Spitting out lies of truth or prosperity, when what we lack most is love
Let us begin…

Sing higher my love, crescendo that note, let the entire world hear
Our father, who art in heaven, by your name please have mercy, we cry!
For Armageddon has forsaken our souls, in my dreams I do fear
Repeating ever so slowly, a whisper in thine ear (refer to chant)
Trust in my death- (for you the deed has been done)
All this for in-humanity’s sake, when angels deserve to die…
